eTech Ohio fosters and supports the growth and development of public broadcasting affiliates. To this end, eTech Ohio's network links Ohio's 12 educational television stations, 15 educational radio stations and eight radio reading services through a statewide telecommunications structure and provides valuable state financial support to those stations.

In addition, eTech Ohio, through educational technology departments and entities (Ed Techs), supplies television affiliates with instructional programming (ITV) that is broadcast to Ohio schools.
