Technology Administrator of the Year
Nominate an administrator for the 2009 Technology Administrator of the Year! eTech Ohio, the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) and the Management Council of the Ohio Education Computer Network (MCOECN) present the 2009 Ohio Technology Administrator of the Year Award in honor of an administrator who provides a technology-enriched learning environment that encourages innovation, uses technology to facilitate change for organizational development and fosters an environment where learning is enhanced through the use of technology.
Who is eligible?
The 2009 Ohio Technology Administrator of the Year Award is open to any BASA member* who serves in a leadership capacity within an Ohio school district. A public or private school district superintendent or assistant superintendent, principal, assistant principal, or other building-level administrator can submit a nomination for the 2009 Ohio Technology Administrator of the Year. Nominations can also be self-submitted.
*Nominee must be a BASA member or be a nominee within a school district whose superintendent or other school administrator is a BASA member.
What do the finalists and the winner receive?
Finalists and the 2009 Ohio Technology Administrator of the Year will be honored during the 2009 Educational Technology Conference, February 2, 3 and 4 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. All finalists will receive complimentary full-Conference registration and meal tickets. The 2009 Ohio Technology Administrator of the Year will receive complimentary full-Conference registration and meal tickets, stipend, lodging for two nights, an award plaque, and a monetary award to be used toward the purchase of technology for use in the classroom or school district.
What are the deadlines?
Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, October 15, 2008. All nominations marked "complete" will be reviewed and scored. Finalists, winners and their nominators will be notified by December of their status.

Nominations must be submitted via Hall Pass. The nomination link will go live in August.
