Exhibitor Educational Sessions
What are they?
Exhibitor educational sessions are 45-minute "theater-style" sessions that present and/or demonstrate ideas, strategies or proven practices for addressing common educational needs/concerns through the use of technology. Exhibitor educational sessions are held in breakout rooms located in pods C, D and E of the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC). All sessions are aligned with the Conference strands.
Who can submit one?
Silver, gold and platinum level exhibitors are eligible to submit a session proposal. Silver exhibit packages include one session, gold packages include up to two sessions and platinum packages include up to 4 sessions.
When is the deadline to submit?
There are no deadlines to submit an exhibitor educational session. However, the deadline for an exhibitor session to be listed in the Conference guidebook is November 19, 2008. The deadline to be listed in the Conference addendum is January 11, 2009. All sessions submitted after those deadlines will only be listed in the online conference planner.
What kind of meeting space is provided?
Exhibitor educational sessions are held in breakout rooms located in pods C, D and/or E of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Breakout rooms vary in capacity from approximately 100-200 attendees per room.
What A/V is included with the space?
Each exhibitor educational session room will be set up "theater style" with a head presenter table, LCD projector, screen, sound system with mixer, microphone and Internet connection for one device. Presenters are responsible for providing their own presentation computer and any necessary software or additional equipment required for the presentation.
How can I submit a proposal for an exhibitor educational session?
