The Ohio Educational Technology Conference will bring together over 6,000 educators from across the state of Ohio. Conference attendees will learn how technology is used across the educational spectrum, how it can positively impact our students' progress, bring together campus collaborations, and provide us with professional development that emphasizes how current technology is a resource for educators -- not just the solution.
This year's theme, P-20 Conversations: Shaping a Path for the 21st Century Student, addresses the need to provide seamless technology integration throughout students' careers. Reflecting this year's theme, eTech Ohio sought the participation and collaboration of Ohio Learning Network (OLN), OhioLink, Ohio Resource Center (ORC) and OARnet to provide a premiere professional development event for all of us - teachers, faculty, librarians, instructional designers, administrators, students, and technicians.
Together, we are planning a Conference that provides you with high quality educational offerings that are relevant to your career. From interactive sessions, research presentations, hands-on labs, national keynote speakers, networking opportunities and a classroom of the future, this year's Conference will re-energize you.

Guidelines for Submitting a Proposal
Reviewers will pay particular attention to how proposals align with the Conference theme, vision and tracks. Proposals should clearly demonstrate the use of effective adult learning principles and practices as well as provide an immediate application to the education work of the attendees.
Sessions are not intended to promote products and should instead focus on lessons learned with emerging technologies. Presenters are expected to keep sessions as vendor neutral as possible.
Proposal Approval Process
Completed proposals will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Individuals will receive an email about their proposal status during the first week of November.
Presenter Benefits
In exchange for presenting a session or display the presenter and co-presenter(s) will receive complimentary registration for the day of the presentation.
The primary presenter (the individual who submitted the proposal) will receive all presenter communications and be responsible for registering his/her co-presenters and uploading session handouts to Hall Pass.
