eTech Ohio's Technical Training Program Supports Technical Professionals, Ohio Schools
Registration is Now Open

The annual Technology Training Academy (TTA), will host a variety of highly specialized technical workshops for Ohio K-12 technical leaders and staff. Each workshop has been designed to address a broad range of training needs that face school technical leaders and staff of the 21st century. The first round of courses will be offered beginning this month and continue through November. A second round of courses will be offered during April, May and June.

eTech Ohio is legislatively charged with providing up to $200,000 in each fiscal year to fund competitive professional development grants to school districts. These grants must focus on developing innovative programs that enhance teachers' abilities to use innovative methods for integrating technology to implement state academic content standards in classroom lessons.

While one's thoughts begin to look forward to seasonal changes and the beauty of fall colors changing to winter white; let's think ahead to spring and the opportunity to come together for regional eTech Ohio area meetings.
These area meetings will be held around the state in April 2008 and will highlight themes from eTech Ohio's tenth annual Educational Technology Conference as well as eTech Ohio programs, initiatives and services. In addition, eTech Ohio will showcase projects of affiliates and the collaborative work that assists eTech Ohio in integrating technology into Ohio schools.
