Step 1 - Contact Information     Top
Complete the requested contact information on the screen. A red R indicates a required field that must be completed before proceeding.

Some useful definitions from the Page Help located at the bottom of the screen:

Prefix: A salutation or courtesy title used before your name such as Dr., Mr., or Mrs.
Screen Name: An online moniker used to mask your identity on publicly accessible pages. This prevents search engines and screen scrapers from obtaining your email address for spam or other use. This screen name will be used in future web product releases that include Document Collaboration, Discussions and more.
Suffix: Representations that follow your name. E.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., Jr., Sr., III
Password: Your password should be secure and use a minimum of 6 characters. We advise using both letters and numbers. You should never share your password with anyone. If someone needs access to a resource, have them create their own Hall Pass account and request access to that resource for that person.

Step 2 - Primary Address     Top
Complete the requested address information on the screen. A red R indicates a required field that must be completed before proceeding.

Address: Hall Pass allows you to store more than one entry for address. You designate one as a Primary. Setting an address as Primary lets OSNC know where you prefer to be contacted. This is especially helpful if you have a summer (home) address and a school year (work) address.
Phone Number: Hall Pass allows you to store more than one entry for phone number. You designate one as a Primary. Setting a phone as Primary lets OSNC know where you prefer to be contacted.

Step 3 - Affiliation Type     Top
Complete the affiliation type information with which most closely reflects your affiliation type on the screen. A red R indicates a required field that must be completed before proceeding.

Affiliation Type: This is the organization for which you work directly or to which you are representing yourself as a member. Please try to be as specific as possible.

Step 3a - Affiliation Location     Top
Complete the requested information on the screen by selecting the county in which your primary organization is located. A red R indicates a required field that must be completed before proceeding.

County: This refers to the county location of the educational affiliation that you have identified as your primary affiliation.
Note: Those who have not affiliated themselves with a school district, public or private school or public or private school building will not see this screen.

Step 3b - Affiliation District     Top
Complete the requested district affiliation information on the screen. Please be aware that this screen is only valid for individuals who have affiliated themselves as educational professionals or members of an educational entity in the primary organizational affiliation screen.
A red R indicates a required field that must be completed before proceeding.

District: This refers to the educational affiliation that you have identified as your primary affiliation.
Note: Those who have not affiliated themselves with a school district, public or private school or public or private school building will not see this screen.

Step 4 - Affiliation Organization     Top
Complete the requested organization, position and title information on the screen. A red R indicates a required field that must be completed before proceeding.

Organization: This list we be automatically populated with organizational options that are reflective of the affiliation type you have previously chosen as your primary affiliation type.
Position: This list we also be automatically populated with options that are reflective of the affiliation type you have previously chosen as your primary affiliation type.
Title: Please give the exact title that is used in conjunction with the affiliation type you have previously chosen as your primary affiliation type.

Step 6 - Areas of Interest and Notifications     Top
Complete the form on the screen. to receive additional information or email notifications on areas of interest to you are your organization.

Interest: Select interests that have from the choices presented. This will enable future content and communications to be personalized based on your interests.

Step 7 - Activation of your Hall Pass Account     Top
The final step in the Hall Pass Account creation process is to reply to the email that the Hall Pass system has sent to the email you previously listed as your primary email address.

Open the email message and either double click the url the Hall Pass system has provided or copy the url into a web browser to complete the transaction.

Inactive Hall Pass Account lifespan:
Inactive Hall Pass Accounts will remain in the system for a period no longer than 15 days. After 15 days, the inactivated Hall Pass Account will be purged from the system.
