Data Gathered from Schools
eTech Ohio in collaboration with OSFC gathered data and input from recently completed school building projects around the state of Ohio. Districts were made up of diverse demographics and typologies. The data collection targeted how districts made decisions and planned for technology in a new facility project. The project team spoke with superintendents, business officers, treasurers, technology coordinators, principals, teachers, and district-hired construction managers. The data collection meetings also included site visit tours that provided concrete examples of major areas discussed during the interview.
A summative professional development table has been designed as a guide post for the collaboration project. This will allow stakeholders to develop future professional development for new school facility projects in Ohio.
