Action Planning Tool

What is an action plan?
The EETT Action Planning Tool is a mechanism for capturing the detailed step-by-step process for implementing your grant project. The action plan provides a tool for involvement, improvement, investment, integration and interpreting success as it relates to your specific grant project. Please note that the action plans you submit should not be a "new" creation. You will use the plan supplied in your RFP as the foundation for the information you will submit.

Your plan will consist of the following elements:

  1. Goals - your ultimate destination related to this specific project (student achievement, student technology skills/literacy and teacher training/curriculum development).
  2. Performance Indicators - these are your strategies for accomplishing the three EETT grant goals. Performance Indicators are concise, specific, measurable, time defined and significant.
  3. Project Activities - these are the "monthly" action steps that progress forward toward the performance indicators.
  4. Person(s) Responsible - identify the point people responsible for the activity.
  5. Cost - this is the alignment of the associated activities to your project budget.
  6. Benchmarks - these are the milestones or deliverables associated with your strategies. Benchmarks describe the "proof" of accomplishment and demonstrate that you have achieved your goal.
Requirements
  1. Each building will submit performance indicators for the goals outlined and addressed in the awarded EETT RFP grant application.
  2. Each building will submit a minimum of 3-4 and a suggested maximum of 5-6 performance indicators for each category/type. Sites should limit the number of performance indicators to ensure that project goals and activities are significant, specific, realistic and reachable.
Who is responsible for submitting information to the tool?
District contacts are responsible for communicating the action planning overview information and process to all building contacts. The building contacts are chiefly responsible for completing the EETT Action Planning Tool.
