The eTech Ohio Commission and the Ohio Department of Education are pleased that 76 sites were awarded funds for the 2006-07 school year in the competitive grant process.

2006-2007 EETT Professional Development Workshop
-
In the fall of 2006, professional development was provided for New and Continuation EETT grant awardees. This opportunity focused on the importance of Technological Literacy and the full implementation of the Ohio Technology academic content standards into the K-8 curriculum; including an overview of the Ohio Technology academic content standards; sample integrated technology lessons for grades K-8; how to design integrated technology lessons for elementary and middle school curriculum, and hands-on activities that illustrate the integration of technology education into the K-8 regular curriculum.

EETT Timeline - July 2006 thru June 2007

There are two components of the 2006-2007 EETT Competitive Grant. The first includes the continuation grant application. Buildings eligible to apply for the continuation grant currently have an EETT grant. The second component of the 2006-07 EETT Competitive Grant program includes the new grant application. Eligible buildings submitted a Letter of Intent (2006-2007 EETT New Eligible Buildings Letters of Intent Received
) to apply for the grant.
