A series of vendor information sessions (VIS) were held to allow new eligible 2008-2009 Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) grant applicants the opportunity to meet and discuss the tools. New eligible grant recipients were not required to attend these sessions.
These sessions provided technical assistance to grant applicants and were designed to assist the new eligible applicants in gaining information that will help inform the decisions they will make in addressing their academic need for the competitive EETT grant. New grant applicants had the opportunity to:

Receive an overview of the EETT project and Request For Proposal (RFP); and
Meet the vendors in small group settings in an effort to frame and shape the context for how these tools might begin to address their specific, individual academic need.
There were two (2) VIS held in Columbus, Ohio that occurred March 4 and March 5, 2008. The information presented at the sessions was the same. Only those buildings that are eligible were allowed to attend the VIS.
