The eTech Ohio eLearning team is continuously looking for content or subject area Subject Matter Experts (SME), Instructional Designers (ID) and online course Facilitators to work with our eLearning team for the development and facilitation of current and future online professional development courses. If you are interested in being an eTech Ohio certified online facilitator or part of an eTech Ohio eLearning Development Team, please email eLearning@etech.ohio.gov to request more information and/or to submit an application. Applications are reviewed during the spring and fall each year to select individuals based upon specific need or development.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Subject Matter Expert applicant(s):

• Must have expertise in the content or subject area;
• Must have access to a computer, Internet and telephone;
• Must be available for weekly development team meetings;
• Must understand the online course environment and/or collaborative management systems; and
• Must have an understanding of the storyboarding process.

Instructional Designer applicant(s):

• Must have experience in online instructional design;
• Must have access to a computer, Internet and telephone;
• Must be available for weekly development team meetings;
• Must understand the online course environment and/or collaborative management systems; and
• Must have an understanding of the storyboarding process.

Facilitator applicant(s):

• Must be an eTech Ohio certified facilitator. To become certified, applications must have:
• Completed eTech Ohio's online facilitator course;
• Attended the eTech Ohio face to face training; and
• Facilitated an eTech Ohio online course with an eTech Ohio assigned mentor to become an eTech Ohio certified facilitator
• Must have expertise in the content or subject area;
• Must have access to a computer, Internet and telephone; and
• Must understand the online course environment and/or collaborative management systems.
