Dr. Guskey is a professor at the University of Kentucky where he teaches courses in research and evaluation design, quantitative analysis techniques, and educational reform and change. Dr. Guskey has served as a consultant to educators in every state, as well as in Europe and Asia, and has been a frequent speaker at national conferences including the 2005 State Technology Conference.

Dr. Guskey is the author/editor of 12 books and over 100 journal articles, and is the only person to have won twice the National Staff Development Council's prestigious "Book of the Year Award" for Evaluating Professional Development published by Corwin press and to have won three times the "Article of the Year Award". Additionally, two of his recent articles appeared in the winter 2005 issue of the Journal of Staff Development.
