eTech Ohio will report approved districts and the amount to be funded to ODE for fiscal processing. You may expect a period of 3-4 weeks after approval notification for awarded funds to transfer. All FY08 awards will be paid directly to the districts. Notification of transfer (EFT) will be mailed from ODE. Fiscal related questions should be directed to Jennie Arnold, ODE, at Jennie.Arnold@ode.state.oh.us.
After receipt of the Ohio K-12 Network award, it has been determined that our district will be closing a funded building. May I spend the $3,000 received for that building?     Top
No. You cannot spend this portion of the award. Funds received for any building(s) closed or those that no longer qualify under the Ohio K-12 Network networking guidelines within FY08 must be returned. Also, any unspent portions remaining after June 30, 2008, must also be returned as instructed in the ODE final expenditure report.
