I'm Jillian Froment, Executive Director of eTech Ohio, the state agency dedicated to educational technology access and integration for Ohio's learners.
eTech Ohio is involved in a wide variety of activities, using the newest technologies to advance education and accelerate the learning of Ohioans.
We're taking the lead in addressing critical educational technology issues.
We're developing new programs that use research and best practices to inform and serve learning organizations in acquiring, integrating and sustaining educational technology.
eTech Ohio also manages a network that delivers public television and public radio programming; radio reading service programming; and instructional and professional development materials.
These are delivered throughout Ohio, using a combination of broadcast, satellite and fiber technologies.
eTech Ohio has made a commitment to serve our citizens through educational initiatives and by utilizing new technology to help learners succeed in the schools of today and the world of tomorrow.
The teachers and learners highlighted in these videos have made great strides in the integration of technology within their classrooms.
The schools are helping to make eTech Ohio's mission achievable.
