eTech Ohio's Technical Training projects provide district technical staff the opportunity to acquire the necessary technical skills to support and manage their districts' technology systems. Through these projects, eTech Ohio offers online and face-to-face training opportunities which:
- Leverage statewide technical training pricing;
- Provide specialized technical courses delivered by certified trainers; and
- Peer-based training, presentations and networking opportunities.
By supporting the following technical training programs, eTech Ohio is assisting the successful deployment, implementation and maintenance of Ohio educational technology initiatives.
Technology Training Academy (TTA) workshops provide public K-12 district technology staff the opportunity to participate in highly specialized, advanced technical training in order to acquire the skills necessary to support Ohio's school technology systems. Registration Now Open.
Technology Summer Summit (TSS) fosters a community of learners among school technical leaders including: technology coordinators, directors and other technical staff. This annual technical professional development event provides attendees access to training and resources that support their roles and responsibilities in leading, planning and supporting their organization's technology systems. Online registration is now open.
The Technical Reference Library (TRL) is an online resource that provides just-in-time resources for instant self-directed learning, reference and assistance. The TRL delivers the full contents of thousands of books, reports, documents in a fully searchable, Web-based environment. This informational tool, from a long list of trusted publishers is packed with recent, relevant, best-in-class technical reference material.
Technology Coordinator's Email Distribution List is a peer-based, discussion list focused on the broad spectrum of technology infrastructure, management and support issues and experiences that are shared among school technical leaders and staff. This professional learning community is a monitored public forum consisting of over 600 technical personnel from Ohio.
Technology Displays found at the annual eTech Ohio Educational Technology Conference provide an opportunity to network, share ideas, strategies and new technology initiatives. These Displays address general and specific technology-related support issues, new or evolving technologies or uses of technology in a new or innovative manner.
Technical Resource Interviews were conducted to share knowledge and best practices among the network of technical leaders across Ohio. These brief videos contain highlights from the interviews; and a number of them are accompanied with related content in a Question and Answer (text and/or audio) format.
