All workshops are held at the training vendor's facility.

When are courses offered? What time do they start and end?     Top

There are several workshops offered during the following dates:

  • April 21 to 25, 2008
  • May 12 to 16, 2008
  • June 16 to 20, 2008
  • June 26 to 27, 2008

All workshops start at 8:30 A.M. and end at 4:30 P.M.

What is the registration deadline?     Top

Registration deadlines correspond to each individual week of TTA workshops. Generally, the deadline is 10 business days prior to the start of each week of workshops. The specific deadlines are located in the Course Catalog and within each workshop's description.

How do I register?     Top

After logging into your Hall Pass account via the eTech Ohio website, either click on "Current Opportunities" and locate the Technology Training Academy or go into the Educational Technology Services area and click on "Technical Training".

Once you are on the registration page where each course is listed, click on the course you are interested in, scroll to the bottom and click on Apply. During the registration process, you will be given two payment choices of Purchase Order (P.O.) or Credit Card. After you have entered a P.O. number and uploaded a P.O. or paid via credit card, your application will be reviewed by eTech Ohio.

Where can I learn more about TTA courses?     Top

Within the TTA webpage, there is a Course Catalog containing course titles, outlines and self-assessments. This data will assist you with determining which course best suits your needs.

How do I check the status of my application?     Top

You may check the status of your application online. Review the instructions detailed in the "Determining Your Own Status" related link.

How much does it cost to register for a course? Will lunch be provided?     Top

Each course is $50. That fee includes lunch for each day of the course.

Do I need to bring anything to the Technical Training Academy?     Top

No.

Where can I stay overnight and are special rates available?     Top

There are several hotels in close proximity to the training facility. Review the "Location and Lodging" related link for more details. Special rates are not available.

What is the cancellation process?     Top

Registrants who cancel three (3) business days prior to the registration deadline of their course/workshop will not be invoiced by eTech Ohio. Registrants who cancel within three (3) business days prior to the registration deadline of their course/workshop, or do not attend for any reason, will be invoiced by eTech Ohio.

Will I receive a certificate of completion? How and when can I get my certificate?     Top

An online certificate of completion will be available after your attendance is recorded by eTech Ohio staff. At that time you will be able to obtain your certificate within the Conclusion tab of your specific TTA course which is located in your "My Applications/Transcripts" area of your Hall Pass.

Is graduate credit available?     Top

No, graduate credit is not available.

I love these courses! Can I attend more than one?     Top

Yes you may.

Can I register my staff member?     Top

No, each individual needs to apply separately.

Can we put multiple registrations on a single Purchase Order?     Top

Yes. Make sure to upload the purchase order with each application.

Can my co-workers attend the same TTA course?     Top

Yes, your co-workers may attend the same TTA course. First they will be placed on a Wait List until the registration deadline has been reached and seat availability is verified. Each Big Eight Urban district may send up to three technology staff per TTA course, due to a higher number of technical staff employed by these districts.

I paid with a purchase order. Will an invoice be sent to me?     Top

There is a downloadable invoice in the 'Conclusion' tab of your workshop. Log into your Hall Pass account, click on 'My Applications' and go to the workshop you attended. Once you open that opportunity, click on the 'Conclusion' tab to download the invoice.

I paid with a credit card. Can I get a receipt?     Top

There is an electronic receipt in the 'Application' tab of your workshop. Log into your Hall Pass account, click on 'My Applications' and go to the workshop you attended. Once you open that opportunity, click on the 'Application' tab to view/print your receipt.
