Technology Training Academy (TTA)

Technology Training Academy (TTA) workshops are an excellent opportunity for district technical staff to be trained by manufacturer certified, professional trainers along side of their peers. This highly specialized technical training and networking opportunity is provided at a tremendous discount from the retail value. A participant only pays $50 for each TTA workshop they attend.

Registration for workshops offered during April, May and June is now open! Review the course catalog, course outlines and skill assessment guides to assist you in planning your technical professional development for the remainder of the school year. There are two-day workshops in June immediately following the 2008 Technology Summer Summit.

During FY07 Technology Training Academy there were 474 participants in 45 workshops. These school technical leaders gained knowledge in topics including, but not limited to:

  • Remote administration;
  • Voice over internet protocol (VoIP);
  • Network management and security;
  • Desktop and server administration and maintenance;
  • Supporting streaming media; and
  • Various CompTIA certification courses.
