The Technology Integration Pathways (TIPs) program was implemented as a resource to help districts plan and design professional development for the integration of technology that is based on student and teacher needs.
This site provides the Technology Integration Pathways (TIPs) Process Flow Decision Tree. This tool is designed to help educators who are beginning to think about integrating technology into lessons. The decision tree helps guide an educator through a planning process focused on integrating technology into a standards-based lesson. This process flow poses questions to channel the educator's thinking while providing the educator with resources and a better understanding of how to use educational technologies in the classroom.
The TIPs Process Flow Decision Tree is intended to be used in conjunction with other materials and resources in order to gain a stronger understanding of educational technologies and technology integration. It was created in an effort to accommodate educators' different learning styles by providing an option to one of the TIPs documents, Technology Integration Pathways Guiding Questions and Resources for Creating Technology Integrated Lessons, located in the TIPs Document Library.
