Technical Support
eTech Ohio's Videoconference Services provide services to Ohio K-12 districts, various state agencies, Ohio content providers and Ohio community organizations that are active members. Through the eTech Ohio Video Network Operations Center (eTech Ohio VNOC), eTech Ohio provides video bridging, gateway and scheduling services to link sites on our video network with sites all over the world. The current network standards support video transmission protocols for H.323/IP, H.320/ATM and H.320/Direct connect T-1.

Help Desk Technical Support

The eTech Ohio VNOC Help Desk handles questions, problem reports, service requests and inquiries from members regarding videoconferencing scheduling, bridging and related topics.
Standard Hours of Operation: 7 am - 8 pm EST Monday - Friday. Any conferences scheduled before or after those times will not be monitored.

Note: The eTech Ohio VNOC Help Desk is closed on state holidays when offices are closed.

Videoconference Test Sites

The eTech Ohio VNOC offers members point-to-point dial-up access to several videoconferencing systems for testing purposes. Feel free to utilize the numbers below to conduct testing of your videoconferencing systems. Please be aware that these numbers may be unavailable during certain times of the day to heavy network traffic.

The Videoconferencing Announcement List is an email announcement list specifically created to help support the use of videoconferencing for members. New members are automatically subscribed. Non-members may subscribe but require approval.

eTech Ohio has developed a VC Manager training tutorial for members. Access the VC Manager tutorial. There are also other network members available to provide you with information about training or content upon request.
