eTech Ohio provides financial support and telecommunication services, through the Educational Telecommunications Network, to Ohio's eight public television stations, 15 public radio stations and eight radio reading services. Through this support, Ohio has achieved statewide access to public broadcasting. Affiliate Services include:

Traffic System Services:

• Maintain a statewide uniform traffic scheduling system.
• Provide scheduling tools and assistance for affiliate public radio stations and radio reading services.
• Provide traffic technical, scheduling and support services.
• Assist affiliates with requests for Broadcast and Instructional Television programming and schedules.

Content Distribution/Monitoring Services:

• Operate satellite uplink and downlink equipment and ISDN audio equipment for the transmission and receiving of audio signals.
• Operate and monitoring automation systems to feed programming to the affiliates
• Maintain video servers and a video archive.
• Operate video and audio record equipment and monitoring quality control parameters for video and audio feeds to the affiliates to ensure compliance with FCC and broadcast operating standards.
• Pass through program feeds from multiple sources to the affiliates.
• Provide time delayed playback or live playback from multiple program sources to assist the affiliates.
• Archive and store instructional television programming, PBS programming, NPR programming and other programming for later distribution by the affiliates.
• Manage Instructional Television group buys and pool leases.
• Support Dial-Up Newspaper Reading Services.
