Public broadcasting stations produce a tremendous amount of high-quality, award-winning programming addressing education, economic development and other high-priority issues each year. eTech Ohio provides these stations with principal support from the state through operating subsidies.

eTech Ohio administers operating subsidies that help support the daily operating of Ohio's public broadcasting affiliates and other organizations. These funds assist public broadcasting stations with pursuing their goals, producing educational content and developing strong online services and multimedia.

eTech Ohio administers the following operating subsidies:

• Public Television Operating Subsidies
  Provided to Ohio's eight public television stations.
  
  
• Public Radio Operating Subsidies
  Provided to Ohio's 15 public radio stations.
  
  
• Radio Reading Service Operating Subsidies
  Provided to Ohio's eight Radio Reading Services.
  
  
• Educational Technology entity (Ed Techs) Operating Subsidies
  Provided to Ohio's eight Ed Techs.
  
  
• Statehouse News Bureau (SNB) Operating Subsidy
  Provided to an Ohio public television station to support the operations of SNB.
