Web-Based Services

Simply being connected to a network is not enough to support education and learning. The web-based services provided by eTech Ohio are essential to the delivery of quality services. eTech Ohio brings application development experience to the table to support digital government, eLearning, technology-enabled business process, audit controls, communications tools, content management, planning tools, research and evaluation resources and more, including:

Distance Learning Clearinghouse - The eTech Ohio DL Clearinghouse will be a web site bringing together distance education opportunities from Ohio school districts and community schools for Ohio learners. The clearinghouse will be managed and maintained by eTech Ohio with all course content coming from the district level.

Hall Pass (HPS) - The eTech Ohio Hall Pass Suite integrates a single sign-on user account, common look and feel, consistent user experience and tighter integration of tools to streamline processes, such as grant applications and registrations.

Opportunity Tracking Tool (OTT) - Available by logging into your Hall Pass account, our online registration/application system that handles class registrations, grant applications and more.

Biennial Educational Technology Assessment (BETA) - Our survey for collecting data for research and policy development purposes pertaining to school technology.

Technology Planning Tool (TPT) - The online Technology Planning Tool (TPT) will assist education organizations with the seamless development of an organization-wide technology plan that not only meets state and federal requirements but also leads to action and results within a proactive and reflective strategic planning framework. The new version of TPT launched August 1, 2005, uses the command center to structure a series of surveys and functionality to provide a unified experience.

Organization Profiles - A collection of relevant data about organizations including contact information, grant allocations, statistics and program participation.

Equipment & Services Catalog - State leadership must be provided for educational technology acquisitions. As such, eTech Ohio provides, unique acquisitions services to districts to assist them in maximizing state funds, particularly SchoolNet Plus, as well as local investments in educational technology, and to assure that all school districts - regardless of size, quantity of items purchased, wealth and district geography - receive equity in pricing and service levels.
